Black Trumpet Wine

Harvest

Inspired by two of our very favorite things: the Syrah grape & Craterellus Cornucopioides (the Black Chanterelle Mushroom), we began production of the Black Trumpet label in 2012.

Each year we work with a small selection of grapes from our favorite Syrah sites in Sonoma and Mendocino County. Production is limited to just over one or two barrels per year, and the grapes are hand-harvested from an organically-farmed vineyards with partial stem-inclusion and limited to no sulfur. To preserve the full flavor profile of these sites we do not fine or filter any of our wines.
